How we research, write, review and update the articles on LoveChecker — and how we keep them honest.
Last updated October 3, 2026
Our blog exists to give readers clear, practical and kind guidance on love, dating and relationships. This policy explains who writes our articles, the standards every piece must meet before it is published, and what we do when something needs to be corrected.
1
Who Writes Our Content
Articles on LoveChecker are written and edited by Ashish K., founder and editor of the site. Every post shows its author and publish date, and the author name links to a profile page with a short bio and a list of their articles.
We write for a general audience. Our authors are not licensed therapists, counsellors or doctors, and we say so clearly on every article.
2
Our Writing Standards
Every article must be:
Helpful — written to answer a real question readers have, with practical steps they can actually use.
Original — written for LoveChecker, never copied or spun from other websites.
Respectful and inclusive — free of shaming, stereotypes or content that promotes control, manipulation or abuse in relationships.
Family-friendly — no explicit sexual content, hate, violence or anything unsuitable for a general audience.
Clear — plain language, honest headlines, and no clickbait promises.
3
Research & Sources
When an article refers to relationship research, psychology concepts (such as attachment styles or love languages) or health and safety topics, we base it on reputable sources — for example published research, universities, recognised health organisations and established relationship experts — and link to them where it helps the reader check the information themselves.
We avoid presenting opinions as facts, and we avoid making claims that a source does not support.
4
Review Before Publishing
Before a post goes live, it is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, tone and readability. We check that facts match their sources, that links work, and that advice is safe and balanced. Whatever drafting or editing tools are used, a human editor reads, edits and approves every article before it is published.
5
Updates & Corrections
Relationship advice should stay useful over time, so we revisit articles and refresh them when information changes or when we can make them more helpful. Updated articles show a new modified date in their page data.
If you spot a mistake, a broken link or something that could be clearer, please contact us or email support@lovechecker.in. We review every report and correct genuine errors as quickly as we can.
6
Not Professional Advice
Our articles share general information and are not a substitute for professional relationship counselling, medical, psychological or legal advice. If you are dealing with abuse, a crisis or a serious mental-health concern, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
Our calculators, quizzes and zodiac tools are for entertainment only — see our Disclaimer.
7
Advertising & Editorial Independence
LoveChecker is free and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence over what we write, which topics we cover or what our articles recommend. Ads are shown separately from article content, and we do not accept payment to publish or change an article.
If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, it will be clearly labelled. How ads and cookies work on this site is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
